Presentations

What does it mean to put people at the heart of global climate governance? This week at the UN Climate Week in Panama City, we shared how the Global Mutirão - a decentralized, collective mobilisation of climate solutions - can be grounded in real participation. Representing Iswe Foundation, Iñaki Goñi Jerez participated in The Future of Global Action session by introducing the Global Citizens' Assembly: a practical infrastructure and global coalition designed to support assemblies worldwide and surface community-led priorities into global policy spaces.

🔗 Iñaki introducedhttps://assemblis.org, the GCA's online platform that is about more than visibility, it's about connection. Connecting lived experience with policymaking. Local action with global relevance. Citizens with institutions.

After a 12-hour flight the day before and the kind of social awkwardness only climate conferences can deliver, Iñaki stepped up. He delivered with passion, energy, and deep commitment - a reflection of all of us at Iswe who believe in what we’re building: a model that could become a lasting legacy for COP30 and a turning point for how people shape global decisions.
